Charting & EMR Overview
InSched includes a full electronic medical records (EMR) system for managing patient charts. Documents, notes, scanned images, and imported files are organized in a structured chart for each patient.
Viewing Charts
The EMR Viewer provides a comprehensive interface for browsing and viewing all documents in a patient's chart.
Adding Notes
The Add Note dialog provides a full rich-text editor for creating clinical notes in a patient's chart.
Editing Document Info
After a document has been added to a patient's chart, you can update its metadata using the Edit Document Info dialog.
Chart Sections
Chart sections organize documents within a patient's EMR into logical categories. Every document in the chart is assigned to a section.
Scanning Documents
InSched includes a multi-page scanning dialog for digitizing paper documents directly into a patient's chart using a TWAIN-compatible scanner.
Image Capture
InSched can capture images directly from a camera or webcam connected to the workstation and save them into a patient's chart.
Snippets
Snippets are reusable text blocks that can be quickly inserted into chart notes. They save time when documenting common findings, procedures, or standard language.
Letter Import
InSched allows you to import pre-defined letter templates into a patient's chart. Letters are typically standard correspondence such as referral letters, follow-up instructions, or consent documents.
Image Preview
The Image Preview dialog provides a focused view of an image from the patient chart with options to print or save.
